Creating a floor to ceiling box-bay curtain wall façade has allowed the homeowner to fully open up their home to the light with a complete internal redevelopment internally creating a huge open plan living space. The bifold doors within the lower section enhance this open living experience allowing the free movement from house to garden and the leisure facilities contained within.
As a project this contained a number of challenges for the Fentrade team, who worked closely with the system supplier Aluk to create a structurally sound and engineered façade. The introduction of a steel portal within the curtain wall to enable the installation of the bifold doors allowed the project to be undertaken by Fentrade to the satisfaction of the trade customer and the homeowners alike.
