Project Summary
Locally respected and established domestic and trade installer Gardinia (West Wales) Ltd were contacted by a retailer specialising in aids for the chronically ill, disabled and elderly to replace the shopfront on their Haverfordwest showroom. Priority was given to the access as the client base needed to be able to enter and exit the premises with ease.
The existing frames were in uPVC with a standard entrance door, so working with our trade customer, Gardinia, the new doors were specified to suit the needs of the customer as well as the retailer: a low-level ramped threshold to facilitate the access, hold-open overhead concealed door closer for less effort when entering or exiting the shop and hooklock deadlock facility for securing the door.
Replacing the shopfront in white aluminium gave the showroom a more stable and solid entrance whilst not looking out of place with the other windows in the showroom that were being retained in white uPVC.
As with the majority of projects that we undertake with our trade customers, the frames were ordered on Fentrade order forms for clarity throughout the process and we worked closely with our trade customer to deliver the project as requested on time and without delay.
